WHAT IS CROSSWINDS?

Crosswinds Restaurant & Bar is a family friendly destination with a traditional American menu that features Cameo Pizza.  The vibrant yet casual atmosphere provides 140 full-service seats for families, sports fans, and couples alike.

WHERE IS CROSSWINDS?

We are located on the same campus as Island Adventures Family Fun Center on Rt. 53N., Port Clinton.  Crosswinds will round out a fun-filled day at Island Adventures or complement an Island Adventures birthday party magnificently!

WHEN IS CROSSWINDS OPEN?

Crosswinds is open daily at 5PM and will extend hours to encompass lunch soon.

WHAT TYPE OF MENU DOES CROSSWINDS OFFER?

Besides Cameo Pizza, Crosswinds offers a traditional American menu featuring Lake Erie Perch & Walleye, 100% Angus burgers, specialty salads, crispy wings, unique appetizers, & tempting desserts.

DOES CAMEO PIZZA STILL OFFER PICKUP AND DELIVERY SERVICES?

Absolutely.  Cameo Pizza has its own pickup counter that is separate from the dining section of the restaurant.  While Cameo is a staple menu item, however, many more food items are offered for dine-in.  Delivery services are also operated from the new building.

WHAT JOBS ARE AVAILABLE AT CROSSWINDS?

The development of Crosswinds has created approximately 45 NEW JOBS to our area.  Among the new positions are servers, bartenders, cooks, delivery drivers, and kitchen assistants.  While our positions are currently filled, we always accept applications.  Minimum age requirements apply.

WHY THE NAME "CROSSWINDS"?

The word "crosswinds" is an aeronautical and nautical term that refers to any wind that is blowing perpendicular to the line of travel.  Our goal is to provide a high quality product in a family atmosphere that is unique, or perpendicular, to everyday big-chain restaurants.  Crosswinds is also a reference to our unique location at the east end of runway 9-27 in Port Clinton and our general proximity to Lake Erie.
